The two teams collide, as they discover that the alien source of power is the Vision, sent by the alien races exterminated by Gah Lak Tus to warn the cosmic being's next lives.
It was supposed to have 100 years before its arrival to warn humanity, but the Russians found it and partially disassembled it, preventing it from regenerating.
