Jessica Peterson is a normal girl, a little shy, who lives with the exuberant Jin.
They both work in a bar as waitresses.
Jessica is approached by an attractive and distinguished man, who offers to drive her home.
Jessica agrees, but he then tries to kill her.
The girl instinctively defends herself, turning into a snake woman and killing him.
Thanks to the help of an old, regular customer of the bar, Jessica discovers that she is linked to 68 men who want to kill her.
It is an Indian curse dating back 200 years earlier, which makes those responsible for a massacre perpetrated near a temple dedicated to the Serpent God reincarnate.
Jessica is also a reincarnation and precisely, the companion of the Serpent God.
Slowly Jessica regains her ancestral memories, as the 68 men seem to do.
Their leader, Harker, is doomed to remember his previous lives with each rebirth and is also always impotent, due to the venom of the Serpent Goddess.
Harker is tired of the curse and convinces Jessica to break it, killing all 68 men, himself included.
Since the register ends with the death of only 4 of the 68 men, it is assumed (and so it is) that the series in the U.S.A. continued.
In Italy it closed with this volume.
