On the occasion of the Trial of the Observers against Uatu, we are witnessing a special version of the “What If…?” Series.
The first meeting between the Fantastic Four and Galactus is re-proposed, but this time without the intervention of Uatu to warn them.
The alarm is given by Nick Fury and the SHIELD.
Silver Surfer does not meet Alicia Masters and therefore remains cold towards the humans.
Reed Richards still manages to stop Galactus, using his energy originating from an earlier version of the Universe.
Uatu is shocked by the futility of his intervention, given that in this version the Fantastic Four manage to improve the planet, not just kill Galactus.
A pleasant interlude in the final cycle of the Fab Four (and in fact, it's a separate publication!).
