Reed, Sue and Johnny reach the dome that holds Ben and Alicia trapped.
The couple are in stasis pods and are forced to relive the events that upended their lives 6 months ago.
The Fantastic Four have been attacked by insects from the Negative Zone.
To stop them, Reed dislocated the Baxter Building and the entire surrounding neighborhood in time, throwing the bugs into space.
However, their four children were inside the Baxter Building.
Everyone (except insects) will reappear in exactly the same place in 1 year, with no memory of what happened.
Ben and Alicia are furious with Reed for the decision and the same goes for all the inhabitants of New York involved.
I find the proposed solution somewhat bizarre, but let's see how they develop it.
