Daredevil prepares to leave New York to work with Elektra against the Hand.
Before leaving, however, he has some errands to run.
Talk to the new Kingpin, Butch Fisk, as Mike Murdock.
He informs him that Matt is dead, but that he'll keep tabs on him and attack him if he acts like his father.
The threat is corroborated by the presence of Spider-Man.
Matt reveals his secret identity to Spider-Man, nullifying the effect of the Purple Children.
He tries to reach out to his ex Kirsten to say hello and reveal he's still alive, but gets sidetracked.
At the station he meets Robert Goldman, a lawyer and classmate, who reveals that he is his Guardian Angel.
Soon after, the train Kirsten is traveling on explodes.

Protagonist of the story Elektra, who meets Stick on Makanrushi Island, Russian territory but disputed with Japan.
In this place they decided to make the base of the Fist, the new organization led by her and Daredevil.
They are attacked by some Russian soldiers and Stick kills them.
Elektra clashes with him, to underline her authority.
Her blind master reminds her that one of the Fist's two leaders is doomed to die.
