Fantasy story set partly in the Mexican past and partly in the present.
A young American orphan is attracted to a remote region of Mexico, Tulum, by an anonymous postcard.
Wayne loves the place, but can't understand what draws him there.
In the past, we don't know exactly when, the beautiful Canari ventures into the forest with her little brothers, losing the youngest.
Rebuked by her father, she goes back to look for him, accompanied by her two twin brothers.
They find themselves in a magical city, in another dimension, where they meet an ancient warrior, who died 300 years before.
After various vicissitudes they manage to return to reality, but still no trace of little Xaotil.
In the present Wayne randomly finds himself in the same places as Canari's search.
Designs and colors in a vaguely “Disney” style, but with the deliberately sensual shapes of the beautiful protagonist, which presage interesting developments.
