Introduction
Louise Parker is a married woman, but not happily.
Her husband is much older than her and treats her like a submissive.
They live in Houston, Texas and she is a housewife.
In search of independence, she seeks advice from her sister who offers her a job as a model with a photographer friend of hers, Mary Moore.
It is the beginning of an odyssey, full of betrayals and perversions, with a tragic epilogue.
