Rica Buenastarda is an outgoing and serene girl who lives and works with her family in a small private Mexican airport.

Her father is an eccentric inventor, who exploits his daughter's gift for his inventions: Rica in fact has the power to power electrical appliances with her own body.

While testing a flying prototype, her father and brothers are killed, while Rica loses an arm.

Thanks to another of her father's inventions, Rica becomes the masked heroine Stellar, intent on making it big in the United States...
