Druuna wakes up on a beach, naked, with no memories.
A man approaches, naked and handsome, who claims to know her.
They make love on the shore, he says his name is Lewis.
When the dream ends Druuna finds herself in front of the withered head of the ship's captain and all the memories come back to haunt her.
The captain admits that he is Lewis and that he has created a telepathic bond with her, to get her help.
Druuna must help him destroy Delta, the computer that controls the base, but to do this she will have to return to the city.
Druuna agrees to help him.
The city is changing and when she arrives she can't find her way.
She meets a mutilated man who asks her to protect his daughter Hale.
Shortly after the man is killed by soldiers and Hale is raped.
They follow those soldiers to be protected from the mutants, but Schastar is also following Druuna and when Hale is sodomized by the usual soldier, he comes to their aid.
Schastar saves their lives, but they are found unconscious by the military.
Druuna ends up in bed with Jock, an officer she already knew, while Hale ends up prostituting herself with soldiers.
After getting Druuna what he wanted, Jock turns her over to the priests to be tortured.
To save her comes, sent by Lewis, the little mutant she met in the first volume.
The bizarre little man leads her up to the tower, where Delta can be destroyed.
When she is about to triumph, Druuna realizes that she has been manipulated by Lewis, willing to kill everyone in order to die in turn.
Druuna saves the computer and returns to the city.
