John Lynch organizes an attack on a gangland club, to allow Holden to escape undisturbed and meet him.
Lynch has him meet an alien held prisoner by the I.O., who reveals that he can remove the alien artifact from his body.
The alien is lying, on Lynch’s orders, and Harper can sense it, but plays along.
