Caitlin travels back in time to 1943.
Alexander Nicolaides is about to be captured by the feds, but she helps him escape.
The young physicist explains to her that he has found a way to travel through time and escapes, hiding in the past.
The date chosen is 336 BC, i.e. the year in which Alexander the Great came to power.
Caitlin returns to the present and destroys the time machine.
