As a school assignment, Lisa organizes an election with her pets as candidates: Santa's Little Helper and Snowball II.
By mistake, the residents of Springfield believe that the election is real and Snowball II becomes the new mayor.
Lisa takes on the task of interpreting his will, making some dangerous decisions.
When she cancels the second amendment (the right to have a gun), Springfield is invaded by the English and it will be former mayor Quimby who fights them.
