The other X-Men reach the alien planet where the Starjammer is, to rescue Corsair (Scott Summers' father).
The Brood already dominates the planet and Corsair is about to succumb to an alien fetus inside him.
Jean Gray and Magik set off in search of Bro, the mutant alien who is supposed to keep the Brood under control.
Talon (Laura X-23, senior version) surgically extracts the fetus, with the help of her lover Synch, eliminating it.
