Deadpool series regular returns, with a new creative team (too early to judge!)
Deadpool auditions to join the elite group of assassins called the Atelier.
The Horned Emperor, their leader, tasks Deadpool with killing Doctor Octopus within 48 hours.
During that meeting Deadpool meets Valentine Vuong, a beautiful trans, with whom he falls in love at first sight.
While waiting on the roof of his laboratory for Doctor Octopus to arrive, Deadpool is attacked by the Reaper, who captures him.
The Reaper is a scientist who controls plants (remember A LOT of Poison Ivy!) and wants to take advantage of Deadpool's regenerative abilities to develop a new Carnage symbiote.
Deadpool manages to escape and reaches Doctor Octopus, but the symbiote emerges from his body just then.
